Using nothing more the pan-pot, you can scroll through the full spectrum of that familiar J-style passive tone.

Unprecedented Active Circuit

Nestled between two of the fitted control pots you'll find a mini-switch that can be flipped to trigger the active circuit and double the sonic palette of this J-bass. In active mode, the tone-tweaking power is immediately expanded from one pot to three pots (a dedicated bass pot and a concentric mid and treble pot) for three-band frequency adjustments and more in-depth sound shaping. And this is way more than just a perk, since it gifts the next-gen Fender Player Plus Jazz Bass with a truly flexible and far-reaching range.
