The neck profile is a modern C shape and is finished in the luxurious satin-gloss found on the necks of it's American siblings. The pau ferro fretboard lends a darker tone and a light roundness to the overall sound.

Naturally, you have the Mexican standard pair of single-coils but on the Player, they have been upgraded to house the Alnico 5 magnetic cores.
