Fender's Deluxe series allows you to reap the benefits of high-quality guitars at an excellent price. This Precision Bass is part of the Okoume range, notable for tasteful au-naturel finishes, which in this case marvellously complements the splendour of the dark-coloured (mahogany-like) wood. Sound-wise, this P-Bass produces an acoustic sound that is very comparable to that of maple. The result is a distinctively Fender-like bass guitar sound with an excellent sustain.
Fender DLX Active Precision Bass Okoume RW: stable playing comfort
The Hi-Mass bridge (with four chrome-plated zinc saddles) greatly contributes to the bass lines' resonance. Combined with the vintage-style open Fender tuners, the bridge ensures rock solid tuning stability. The bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard give this P-Bass the famous Fender punch. The fretboard has 20 medium frets and a 9.5-inch radius for the familiar Precision feel with a light modern touch for that extra bit of playing comfort.
Deluxe Active Bass Okoume
The Deluxe series offers guitars with an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Like all Okoume bass guitars, this one also features Fender's active electronics that consist of an active 3-band EQ and ultra-silent Noiseless pickups. On a P Bass, the mid position houses a vintage-style Alnico Split Coil for the famous Precision sound. Moreover, a Noiseless pickup that looks and sounds like a traditional single-coil occupies the bridge position. Thanks to the stacked double-coil design, this pickup is as quiet as a humbucker, ridding you of the typical 50Hz hum! The volume, blend and 3-band EQ (boost/cut) potentiometers allow you to govern a vast area of bass guitar sounds.
