Bassists who perform regularly in various different styles of music need a versatile bass to fill their needs. This 5-string Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass V in 3-Color Sunburst is the best of both worlds, as it combines that authentic Jazz Bass sound with a modern, intelligent active system. Two Ceramic Vintage Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups take care of the passive bass sound that J-basses are known for. When the special mini switch on this bass is flipped, however, it can produce powerful lows, full mids and crunchy highs.

Fender Deluxe Active Jazz-Bass V in 3-Color Sunburst

Compared to the original J-bass, the Deluxe Active Fender features a HiMass bridge on its solid body that contributes to an enhanced resonance and longer sustain. Its comfortable C-profile maple neck has a familiar 74mm-wide string nut and a bevelled heel with asymmetrical neck plate so the highest frets are easily accessible. A maple fretboard with 12-inch radius makes ultra-fast playing a walk in the park.
