This Fender Custom Shop offering gets you a best-of-both-worlds bass that features a '58 Jazz Bass body and a '60s-style U Back-Shape Precision Bass neck. In other words, if you're a fan of that classic P-Bass shape and love the feel of a maple J-Bass neck, then this solid-bodied bass is the only right choice. It even comes complete with a matching deluxe hardshell case, a Custom Shop certificate of authenticity and a strap.

The Limited Edition '58 P-Jazz Bass Heavy Relic: Warm, Vintage Sound and Huge Dynamic Range

Dipped in heavily relic'd Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst lacquer, this five-star bass guitar packs a seriously played-in look and features a two-piece select ash body, a quarter-sawn maple neck and a round-lam, quarter-sawn maple fretboard to match, resulting in a clear core sound framed by tight lows. Meanwhile, the hand-wound '62 P-Bass pickup aptly polishes off the customised build and ensures warm, vintage tone, ample sonic focus and distinct playing dynamics.
