Fender have made the American Standard Precision Bass V fully suited for this day and age. Thanks to modern features, this 5-string bass now plays and sounds better than ever before. Two graphite Posiflex support rods in the neck provide for optimal strength and stability, regardless of weather conditions or changes in temperature. Fender's High Mass Vintage bridge has the same classic looks as before but has gained considerable weight to provide more tone and longer sustain. The new Hipshot tuners have also retained their authentic appearance but weigh 30% less than their predecessors for a better-balanced instrument. Twenty medium jumbo frets and a 9.5-inch fretboard radius provide for optimal comfort while playing.

Fender's P-Bass is a favourite of bass players in many music genres because of its powerful, and protrusive sound.
