The split single-coil at the neck and single-coil in the bridge position are made by Aguilar and are perfectly balanced to produce a dynamic, full sound. You can adjust the overall sound with four controls: volume, pickup balance, bass and treble. The bass and treble knobs adjust the built-in active Aguilar OBP-2 preamp's tone control.
