LTD's B Series basses aren't popular for nothing. ESP has now expanded the series with the LTD B-204SM - the letters SM stand for 'spalted maple', which refers to the unique ash top. The black grain of the maple wood top really comes through thanks to the See Thru Black Satin finish. The body itself is made of ash, which, together with the thin U, 5-ply maple and rosewood neck, guarantees a good resonance.

This instrument produces an audible tone resonance due to two SB humbuckers developed by ESP themselves, which are connected to a 3-band equalizer, also designed in-house. These electronics ensure an accurate boost/cut in the low, mid and high, giving you access to a broad sound palette. That makes this ESP LTD B-204SM not only suitable for the heavy stuff, but for literally any style of music you want to play.
