Allmänt

With the Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV CM, Charvel put a fresh spin on the P-style bass. Fluid and fast playability meets the brutal sound of PJ-configured DiMarzio passive pickups, so you get the extra gain and clear low-end of a split-coil in the middle position, and that classic, lightly-spiced roundness of a single-coil at the bridge. The active preamp ensures consistent sound quality via detailed three-band equalisation and a balance pot for tweaking, isolating and blending the output of both pickups. In terms of comfort, the back of the speed-profile neck has been hand-rubbed with satin urethane to provide a superbly smooth feel, while the compound radius of the fretboard has been coupled jumbo frets for a light, fast touch.
