While Tama are known for their solid Iron Cobra Series kick pedals, they've also applied the Iron Cobra-principle to a series of hi-hat stands. The two-leg design of the HH905D hi-hat stand is easily set up and positioned, even if you prefer a double-kick pedal. This model has been fitted with an Iron Cobra 900 foot plate, a Quick-Set Clutch for eased top-cymbal mounting, and since this system has a less dampening effect, the resonance of your hi-hats will actually improve. The Velo-Glide, or double chain drive of the pedal itself offers smooth action and a nicely supple response.

The Tama HH805D: Stable Construction

In developing the HH905D, extra thought has been given to the construction of the foot plate. While earlier models had been fitted with a single-piece hinge, this version has a two-piece hinge to reduce tension and increase flexibility, and for extra stability, rubber feet with adjustable spikes finish the legs. The hi-hat tension can be customised in detail and the stand itself can be adjusted fully using the two included long and short rods.
