The Meinl FD18T-D-TF is an extra-deep frame drum equipped with a True Feel Synthetic skin, which is not only durable but incredibly easy to tune. Speaking of tuning, Meinl have thoughtfully hid the tuning mechanism on the inside of the frame to make sure it can't get in the way while you're busting beats, while a special thumb cut-out is included to make playing traditional styles even easier.

For the frame, Meinl have used the so-called Deep Shell Construction method, which not only guarantees improved sustain, but rich and full sound. In addition, premium rubber wood from Brazil was used to craft the frame before it was finished in a coat of authentic Brown Burl. The FD18T-D-TF comes including a tuning key.
