The guitar sports a range of luxury features and is supplied with a black TKL case, a Gretsch 130th Anniversary leather guitar strap, an accessory pouch and a certificate of authenticity, signed by master builder Stephen Stern.

The 2.5-inch deep Gretsch G6118T 130th Anniversary (Metallic Gold) features an arched top and back, both made of maple and reinforced with Gretsch's own Trestle-style bracing. Both the maple neck and the gold-and-black body of this Gretsch Guitars instrument feature a durable gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The fingerboard is made of ebony and fitted with Neo-Classic Thumbnail position markers, and the guitar is also equipped with a Bigsby B6C tailpiece with tremolo and a mother-of-pearl 130th Anniversary logo on its headstock.
