The G6118T-LTV 130th Anniversary Jr. (Black) is a splendid new addition to Gretsch's Professional Collection. Featuring a gorgeous black finish with special Metallic Gold sides and back, this hollow-body guitar has been issued to mark the 130th anniversary of the famous Gretsch brand. The semi-acoustic model is supplied with a deluxe case and features a lavish yet durable nitrocellulose gloss lacquer finish.

The construction of the G6118T-LTV

Both arched top and back of the Gretsch G6118T-LTV 130th Anniversary Jr. are made of maple, as are the sides and the neck of the guitar. The base of the bridge and the fingerboard have been fashioned from ebony, and the latter has been fitted with Neo-Classic Thumbnail position markers. Additionally, the exclusive professional hollow-body instrument is equipped with a gold-coloured pickguard and an attractive Bigsby tailpiece with tremolo arm.

TV Jones Power'Tron pickups

The two TV Jones Power'Tron pickups of the G6118T-LTV are modelled after the TV Jones Filter'Tron Classic, but pack more power in the mid range and provide a higher output. They give your bass strings a deep, clear twang and add a richness to your trebles. The sound of these TV Jones Power'Tron pickups is reminiscent of the 1950 PAF Humbucker, but has the pervasiveness of a Filter'Tron - in short, a sound worthy of a Gretsch guitar!
