Among other things, this 2016 version includes a NuBone string nut by Graph Tech and 22 medium jumbo frets. It also features a master volume control with treble bleed so high frequencies will have no trouble cutting through the mix, even at lower volumes.

G5420LH: From Clean to Light Distortion and Crunch

With this guitar, you'll have a left-handed semi-acoustic hollow body at your disposal that offers a special twist on the legendary Gretsch sound due to two blacktop Filter'Tron pickups. These give the guitar a robust tonal foundation with sparkling highs, clear punch, and a bit more output. With one volume knob per pickup, a 3-way pickup switch, a master volume, and master tone controls, you can tweak your sound just how you like it and go from a clean sound to a light distortion and crunch.

Stylish and Classic

Besides a stylish high-gloss lacquered body in Black, the Gretsch G5420LH hollow body offers a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard too. Both the body and neck are, just like the characteristic Gretsch F-holes, fitted with an elegant cream-white binding. Pearloid thumbnail inlays are used for the position markers on the fretboard itself, and the body is complemented by chrome-plated hardware, a silver-coloured pickguard, and a licensed Bigsby B60 tailpiece. Last but not least, the Adjusto-Matic bridge of the Gretsch G5420LH allows you to accurately determine the intonation of this hollow-body guitar.
