Spacious stereo sound backed up by more-than-enough power: the VHT Redline Series AV-RL-80S combo doesn't just deliver audacious sound, but comes coated in red. Loaded with a pair of VHT Special Designed speakers, the sound has a tasty bite to it as well as a broad stereo character while the transistor setup shapes a wide sonic range and boasts a maximum output of 80 Watts - not bad considering the price of this fierce combo. Hook external effects up to the dual send and dual return ports provided by the switchable effects loop and trigger the Drive channel to scroll through the built-in Overdrive, Distortion, Metal, or Redline setting to give your sound some necessary force. Of course, if you prefer things a little cleaner, simply switch back to the first channel. Finished with a built-in spring reverb for coating your tone in just the right vibe; a headphone output and aux input; a footswitch port and an extra output for hooking up a matching 4 Ohm speaker cabinet, this solid combo amplifier comes fully prepped for the modern guitarist.
