This Tweed has been hand-wired in the Custom Shop according to the classic Fender design which gives it that authentic vintage sound as well as the reliability of a brand-new amp. To complete the retro look, it's been given a Lacquer Tweed finish and comes with a matching protective cover.
Fender '57 Custom Twin Amp: Double the fun
That authentic Fender sound from this Twin Amp's 12-inch Eminence Special Design Alnico speakers is a result of the classic 5A8A tube circuitry. The preamp houses two 12AY7 and two 12AX7 tubes, which have been used for decades in a wide variety of tube amps because they produce that unmistakably warm, rich tube sound. In the power amp, there are two 6L6 tubes that don't taint the sound of the preamp with any extra distortion or colouration. This keeps your sound as clean as possible so your effects pedals will sound their best!
Simple design, big sound
What sets the Fender '57 Custom Twin Amp apart from the competition is that it offers so many ways to get a great sound out of your instrument. You have a choice between four different inputs, each of which influence your sound differently (bright, normal, loud or soft). You can then fine-tune your sound even more by using the volume control on the channel of your choice and the shared 3-band EQ. The amp itself boasts excellent compression thanks to a pair of rectifiers. Finally, all you need to do is turn this baby up and you'll be transported back in time to the sweet vintage sound of the fifties!
