Blackstar's successful ID:Core series has been revamped and re-released as the ID:Core V2! All six voices (clean warm, clean bright, crunch, super crunch, OD1, OD2) have been improved and Blackstar are of the opinion that they offer the best sounds in this particular price class. A type of auto wah envelope filter has been added to the effects section that enables you to play funky chords and leads. The chorus and flanger have been combined to create a beautiful, smooth sound. The tuner has also been enhanced so that you can switch it on with one button instead of two.

The ID:Core Stereo V2 is by all means still the same amplifier that put Blackstar on the map. With its choice of voices and effects, you can create one incredible guitar sound after another, and make it sound more British or more American by means of the ISF control. This is an awesome little amp. The sound is MASSIVE, considering it's small size. Huge range of features, but easy to use.
I bought it after my hernia op, as that meant I couldn't pick up my Blackstar ID60:TVP for a few months. Fabulous sound, and I can even run my pedal-board through it, although it needs to be mic'd into the PA for band practice.
Only let down is the Euro to UK plug converter, which was incorrect anyway, so I had to buy a new cable.......still 5 stars :-)

Eergisteren deze versterker ontvangen, in de ochtend besteld, en dezelfde avond geleverd...top service!
Ik kan natuurlijk nog niet zo heel veel ervaringen delen, maar de 1e indrukken zijn meer dan goed mag ik wel zeggen. Mooi geluid met diverse leuke effecten en dat uit deze relatief kleine versterker. Voor in de huiskamer is het volume meer dan toereikend.
Ik heb maar één kleine negatieve opmerking...ik vind het erg jammer dat er geen Nederlandstalige handleiding beschikbaar is. Alhoewel ik redelijk uit de voeten kan met Engels, is NL toch een heel stuk handiger.

i haven't used it all that much yet, but i am already fairly impressed with the straight out of the box sounds...my tele sounds great at a higher volume. all the settings are accurate...they do what they say they'll do and they do it well...the sound is gorgeous on some of the settings...i am VERY happy i went ahead and got this amp...can't wait to try it live somewhere...and it's LIGHT! a bit over 6 kg, i think. (13lbs).
i can't believe they packed so much quality into so inexpensive a unit...and it seems sturdy...i would recommend this amp in a heartbeat...
