A completely new circuit with three silicone transformers and two diodes, designed by Howard Gee, takes the Octapussy to the next level. It delivers an extremely dynamic response so that you get those famous fierce lead tones higher up the neck and an amazing range of high-quality fuzz. Start by setting the Gain and Body controls at maximum. If the volume is too loud, use the Attenuation control to scale things back a bit. Check that the volume control on your guitar is also all the way up and try out a few licks. After this you should have an enormous smile spread across your face. Next turn the volume control on your guitar back down again to experience a pure, sweet octave-up generator. Catalinbread may be a new player in the world of fuzz pedals, but fans of this effect can kiss the sky with the Octapussy.
