The Taurus Stomp-Head 5 is not only a stomp box, it's a fully-fledged tube amplifier head! You can plug it right into a speaker cabinet without a separate preamp and will have three channels at your disposal which can be tweaked to perfection using the comprehensive and effective EQ. From sparkling cleans to heavy distortion, this compact Taurus guitar amp head offers enormous versatility. The Stomp-Head 5 has a power capacity of 90 Watts, which can be reduced to 40 Watts when you're using it at home or in the studio, for instance.

Stomp-Head 5: Practical to Use

This tube amp has a hybrid design, which means that the tubes and transistors work together. It has three channels on board: Clean Lead, Classic Lead and High Gain Lead. These can be selected by means of the footswitches on the Stomp-Head 5 itself or via external footswitches. What's more, you can use the switch to select a bright, normal or dark setting. This makes it possible to change your sound drastically, depending on whether you're playing in the studio or on stage, without having to adjust any of your presets.

Comprehensive Functionality
