The 1959SLP is a reissue of the amp head that was used by guitar greats the likes of Eric Clapton, Angus Young and Pete Townshend. It owes its name to the original front panel, which was made of Plexiglas. The 1959 Super Lead Plexi offers both sparkling cleans and wild lead sound in great detail that is worthy to the legacy of the original. The only change is the FX loop, but purists can use the true bypass switch.

The extras of the 1959SLP

Via the FX loop send and return jacks, you can connect your own arsenal of effect pedals to the amplifier. However, even without pedals, the amp has more tone-control options than just treble, mid and bass. The presence knob allows you to add high frequencies, giving the sound more presence and making it more pervasive. Also, the inputs and accompanying high treble and normal knobs allow to experiment to obtain different sounds.
