SKB iSeries 4217-18 vattentätt flightcase dreadnought gitarr

I was looking for the best case I could find to take my limited edition Taylor GAWS with me to Australia, to join a cruise ship's entertainment team, and found this one. It fits my Grand Auditorium shaped model perfectly as well as my dreadnought models and looks to be incredibly strong, though it does dip a fraction when you stand on it, which isn't surprising. The internal padding keeps the guitar very snug and protected and it has plenty of space to store other items securely. It has multiple easy to use clasps, 2 of which have key locks integrated in them, and has a number of re-enforced padlock holes so you can add extra security when shipping. Still to use it with a real baggage handling system but looks far more likely to get to my destination with a working guitar inside it than the regular Taylor hard-shell. Its great that it's rectangular so should stack easily without sliding around in transit and comes with wheels, so its easy to transport around airport, and is not as heavy as I'd expected. Definitely easy and relatively light enough to carry to gigs on ship. Very happy with purchase and hope it lives up to its billing as virtually indestructible with a lifetime guarantee.
