Yamaha's YSV-104 Silent Violin comes with an external control box, is comfortable to play and produces a realistic sound. It's ideal for practising but can also be used for performances thanks to SRT Powered technology. This ensures that this solid-body violin is able to produce the sound and resonance of an acoustic violin. The included control box can be used to choose between two types of reverb: room and hall. There's also an aux input so you can connect an external media player an dplay along with your favourite tracks.

YSV104: easy switch

The Yamaha YSV-104 is a modern instrument with traditional design elements. The bridge, tail piece and neck are all the same as on an acoustic violin. This makes it easier for acoustic players to make the transition to an electric silent violin and vice versa! The angle of the bow and the fingering is exactly the same, which makes the Yamaha YSV-104 an ideal way for beginners to find their footing on this classic instrument. Yamaha have provided the YSV-104 with synthetic D'Addario Zyex strings that offer a stable, balanced tone.
