The tight Apollo Twin X Duo desktop audio interface from Universal Audio runs via an ultra-fast Thunderbolt 3 connection and supports in-hardware Neve, API and Manley preamp and channel strip emulations to reduce the load on your computer. All of this is made possible by exclusive Unison technology: a preamp section that's controlled by an extremely powerful DSP and enables real-time recording via some of the world's most iconic preamps and EQ units - each plucked out of the golden age that was the sixties and seventies. The Unison tech applies to both the Hi-Z and microphone inputs, and to gain even more DSP power, multiple UAD interfaces can even be coupled and cascaded to stack up a total of 142 audio channels, all of which can be tweaked from the comfort of your desktop.
Included Plugins and the LUNA Recording System
Alongside the Apollo Twin X Duo interface, Universal Audio throw in a hefty plugin bundle, so you also get Teletronix LA-2A, Pultec® EQP-1A, the full Softube bass and guitar amplifier suite and UA's own 610-B Tube Preamp and EQ. Next to that, UA has included their own in-house developed DAW: LUNA. This platform is a seamless fit for Unison, ensuring smooth Apollo Series interface integration.
