RME's Fireface UFX II USB audio interface would be right at home in either setting. With its numerous connection options, this 19-inch 1U rack module gives you an enormous range of possibilities. In total it offers 60 channels (30 inputs and 30 outputs) that can be freely routed.

As well as analogue inputs and outputs, there's an AES/EBU in/out, a wordclock in/out, two MIDI in/outs and two sets of ADAT connectors.
