The affordable 1818VSL audio/MIDI interface by Presonus has a rugged metal housing and uses the processing power from your computer or laptop. You can easily take it with you on the road without worrying about it getting damaged because it comes with a 19-inch soft bag included.

Audio quality of the versatile 1818VSL

The 1818VSL requires a powerful workstation in order to function fully. It offers great sound quality over multiple tracks featuring a number of inputs and outputs. You can connect a whopping 8 signal sources at the same time; all you need is a workstation that can keep up!

The 24-bit, 96 kHz audio processing guarantees high-quality, crystal-clear recording that you can edit using the included software, and listen to between editing sessions.

Latency free

Often, the word latency is mentioned with regard to the audio processing when recording multiple tracks. Latency, however, is a foreign concept to the 1818VSL which is designed to be as latency free as possible, depending on your workstation of course. But the 1818VSL offers so much more than zero-latency; like ADAT, S/PDIF, wordclock and a MIDI interface that surprisingly all fits in the compact 19-inch housing.
