Allmänt
The LP32 audio interface by Motu has four independent ADAT banks, each with eight audio channels that you can send or receive for a total of 64. Via USB, there are another sixty-four at your disposal, 32 of which can be distributed via the AVB-TSN network. That makes a grand total of 256 channels that can be streamed simultaneously, allowing this unique interface to function as a router, splitter, repeater and converter. You can convert and split any audio format over USB, optical (ADAT) connectivity or over the network via AVB-TSN.
Fully-fledged DSP mixer and effects
The Motu LP32 is a fully-fledged 48-channel mixer that can be used in standalone mode. It features seven stereo buses, three groups and offers access to 64 inputs via the network. Both the mixer and the effects are completely taken care of by the LP32's own DSP processor, which is less of a burden on your computer's processor. This means you can work faster and more efficiently and you've got a buffer left for processing other vital tasks. The LP32 comes with a number of high-quality effects, including an impressive modelling of the classic LA-2A compressor, and DSP ensures no-latency performance.
Wireless control
When you connect the LP32 to your router by means of a standard network cable, you can access the interface wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet or computer as long as it's in the same network. What's more, you can use the audio interface in standalone mode and access the DSP effects and the 48-channel mixer. You can also do this using the included web app, which is driven by the device itself.
