In order to protect your files properly, Transcend have thought of everything with this HDD. The three-layer protection consists of a rubber exterior, a smart shock absorber and shockproof chassis. A so-called protection with 'Military Grade Shock Resistance'. The HDD features a button that you can use to quickly create a backup of the data on your computer, on the HDD.
USB 3.0
The new standard in file transfers is the USB 3.0 protocol. This protocol is ten times as fast as the 2.0 protocol, so that transferring large files isn't a problem either. Do you only have a USB 2.0 connector? Don't panic! The StoreJet is compatible with USB 2.0 as well! The external HD can be powered via USB.

Prima harde schijf. Hij ligt bij mij al een paar jaar stiekem back-ups te maken. Je hoort hem niet, hij is snel, en je merkt niks van het back-up proces (via Time Machine op Mac).

Had al 2 3 1/2 inch externe schijven. Nadeel daarvan is dat je altijd voeding nog heb en nogal kwetsbaar.
Deze externe 2 1/2 is stuk handelbaarder en voelt zeer solide aan.
Kan dus tegen stootje.
Gekozen voor versie met USB3,, werkt ook (zoals beschreven) zonder problemen op USB2.
Voor paar euro's meer ben je mooi voorbereid voor Pc die dat heeft

ik heb nu van deze schijven verschillende kleuren gekocht omdat ik vind dat ze en uitstekende kwaltijd hebben ,nog maar te zwijgen van de prijs die is ook uitstekend (voor deze super schijf )ze zijn robuust ,sterk ,snel,goedkoop met andere woorden BAX IS DE MAX
