Allmänt
The Behringer S32 is a digital I/O box equipped with 32 Midas-designed preamps and 16 balanced analogue XLR outputs. Midas has been an innovator in the world of audio mixing consoles since the company started in the 1970s. The Midas XL4 and Heritage H3000, for instance, quickly became industry standards shortly after their introduction. Midas has earned its impeccable reputation by making no concessions when it comes to the build quality and sound quality of their products.
Features
The Behringer S32 is designed for use with the company's flagship X32 digital mixing console, however, almost any mixer with AES50 network capability can be used in combination with the S32. When two S32 stage boxes are used as part of a complete X32 system you get a total of 64 remote mic/line outputs, 32 balanced inputs and the Powerplay P-16 monitoring system. With this setup you can give up to 16 musicians on a stage an individual monitor mix. On the S32 you will also find 2 ADAT outputs and 2 AES-3 (AES/EBU) stereo inputs for a digital connection with external devices like a PA system controller, a handy USB port for system updates via a PC, and MIDI I/O for sound module control.
Ultranet
Ultranet is an innovative system that will change the way you work in the studio forever. It was developed collaboratively by engineers from Klark Teknik, Midas, Turbosound and Behringer. This revolutionary technology is capable of sending up to 16 channels of 24-bit audio via a single Cat 5E cable to a mixer, an I/O stage box, an active speaker and a personal monitoring system. In short, the S32 is an extremely versatile 32 x 16 digital stage box with Midas preamps and wide range of professional features for a very reasonable price.
