The Joranalogue Delay 1 Eurorack module is cut out for Karplus-Strong synthesis: a popular method for simulating the sound of plucked strings where you enter a noise-burst (a short noise sample) and end up with a string-like sound thanks to delay and various related filters. Of course, since delay time determines the pitch, the delay times have to be reasonably short, and short they are in Delay 1. As such, this is not a delay for creating big, spacious effects. In fact, the Joranalogue Delay serves up nothing but short, BBD-type delay effects - perfect for creative and experienced sound-designers running a Eurorack set-up.
