The NX 6 in the advanced Boden Standard Series by the Swedish Strandberg is a more affordable, Indonesian-made version of the maker's high-end models, boasting maximum value for money and a forward-thinking build. While the more exclusive models have a chambered body to keep the weight down, the Boden Standard NX 6 has a 'classic' solid body made of lightweight basswood for an average weight of just 2.3kg. Besides a headless design, this uniquely comfortable model comes with arm and torso carves in the body, plus a special neck heel for increased playability. To kit you out in full, Strandberg also include a standard gig bag, an NX multi tool and a hex key.

The Boden Standard NX 6: Ergonomic Playability Thanks to Patented EndurNeck Profile

Of course, no Strandberg model is a real Strandberg model without the grip, comfort and support of a patented EndurNeck neck profile, which puts less strain on your muscles, tendons and joints when playing solos higher up the neck. The Boden Standard NX 6 also features EGS Rev 7 hardware for eased tune-ups at the bridge, and so you can whip up a wide range of souped-up sounds, this .strandberg* offering has been polished off with two custom-design humbuckers and a five-way pickup switch.

Strandberg Boden Standard NX 6 Green Headless Electric Guitar with Standard Gig Bag

Ik heb nu al enkele maanden een Strandberg Boden Amber. Dit is echt mijn favoriete gitaar. Ik heb OA een Fender Ultra strat, Ibanez Prestige en nog een paar andere gitaren gehad. Ik vindt deze verreweg het fijnste spelen. Ik zit vooral achter mijn PC en dan is zo een kleine gitaar erg handig. Als je verder kijkt dan de in eerste oogopslag rare vormgeving dan kan een Strandberg je wellicht verbazen. De eerste keer dat ik er 1 zag moest ik hard lachen. Maar nu ben ik alweer voor de volgende Strandberg aan het sparen.
