Allmänt
A beautiful instrument for the serious starting guitarist. For those who don't yet know: the Stratocaster might just be the most famous guitar ever made. Copied by many but only Squier – affiliate to the Stratocaster's original manufacturer: Fender – builds affordable versions under Fender's supervision. The included-list of the Squier special-edition Black and Chrome Stratocaster HSS is as long as its name.
The richly-equipped Squier Black and Chrome Standard Stratocaster HSS
The black, high-gloss body has a striking chrome-plated pickguard and of course a full-sounding humbucker pickup (it puts the H in HSS). The Stratocaster has a clear sound thanks to its two single-coil pickups as well as a rich sound thanks to its humbucker. The pickup switch lets you choose the desired sound. Its wide range of different sounds make it suitable for almost any genre. All in all a reasonably priced guitar but well above entry-level!
The Stratocaster
The Stratocaster has been around since the fifties and is based on that other famous Fender model: the Telecaster. The Strat was fitted with three, instead of two, pickups and a tremolo bridge for vibrato effects. It also received its body contours, so you won't be bothered by hard body edges. The Squier Standard Strat also has a beautiful, large '60s style headstock.
The Squier brand
The Stratocaster and Telecaster electric guitars and Precision bass guitars are Fender's best known models and have been copied by many. To offer their own reliable and attractive alternative, Fender started an affiliate in 1982: Squier. Squier guitars and bass guitars are built according to specifications made by, and under supervision of Fender.
