First of all, the chic Jackson USA Select B8 (Satin Black) offers a very wide eight-string range. The guitar builders of Jackson Guitars chose to use a baritone length of 27 inches so that even the lowest string remain at a comfortable tension. But this is just the beginning, demanding professional will also be served with a large portion of durability, stability and of course, a great sound. Just the extremely strong, quartersawn neck and the heavy, first-rate bridge alone indicate top quality.
A guitar with headroom, sustain and power
The die-cast, strings-through-body bridge provides lots of sustain and a direct sound and perfectly transfers the vibrations of the strings towards the body. The alder body provides a powerful, balanced resonance while the ebony fretboard adds a lot of clarity. The famous D Activators take care of the final stage. Despite the fact that they're passive pickups, they're capable of imitating the tight output of active pickups, with lots of headroom and a rich sound.
