The seven-string Jackson USA Select B7 Deluxe (Satin Black) is almost identical to its sibling, the satin gloss black B7. Both guitars feature first-rate characteristics that give professional metal guitarists exactly what they need in terms of durability, stability and sound. These guitars, with their wide range, have been fitted with a heavy, die-cast bridge for a stable tone, and an incredibly strong quartersawn neck with graphite reinforcements and a scarf joint.

The Neck of the B7 Deluxe

The main difference between this guitar and the B7 is the neck which runs through the entire length of the body. Just like the string-through-body bridge, this construction provides a longer sustain and more direct sound. Thanks to the alder body and ebony fretboard you can count on a powerful basic sound with a balanced character and fierce bite. Finally, the passive D Activators produce the tight sound of active pickups but bring more than enough headroom and fullness of tone.
