The Pro Soloist SL2 has features similar to those of Jackson's USA guitars, but keeps its price low. For instance, its dark blue solid body is fitted with a recessed Floyd Rose and an R3 locking nut to keep this SL2 perfectly tuned, even after the most extreme dive bombs. The humbuckers are a variation on the famous Seymour Duncan pickup combination - the bridge pickup is a JB trembucker, mounted for solid rock sounds, while the neck pickup features a '59 for those classic, clean sounds.

The essence of Jackson's guitar sound is provided by the alder Soloist body with a set-through maple neck and like most of these models, the fretboard is made of ebony. All these wood types together deliver a balanced basic sound with extra definition, rich trebles and a nice sustain. This SL2 Midnight Blue electric guitar is equipped with a Jackson speed neck, a compound radius and 24 jumbo frets in order to make it a smooth instrument for both soloists and rhythm guitarists.
