Where other manufacturers often deck these kinds of guitars out with humbuckers or P-90-like soapbar pickups, Ibanez chose a different path. For the TM-302 in an immaculate Ivory finish, they sought inspiration from the famous TE-style models. It features a feisty pickup at the bridge, and a slightly more mild-mannered one at the neck, offering vintage-style twang in a refreshing new package.

With an alder body and a maple neck, Ibanez follows a tried-and-true recipe for a full sound with tight bass, rich mids and sharp trebles. Furthermore, the TM-302 features a rosewood fretboard that adds a warm touch to the overall sound. All in all, it's a great base for the two Ibanez single-coils.
