Allmänt
The RG series by Ibanez was released in 1987 and was initially derived from Steve Vai's legendary JEM Universe. Today, these guitars are still very popular among hardrockers and metal guitarists. After all, their slim, smooth neck and rugged hardware offer fast-playing musicians everything they need. The quality of this model is of a respectable level as the RG Prestige line was made in Japan with great craftsmanship and precision. As such, this blue lightning bolt is a highly reliable and smooth-playing instrument.
Ibanez RG3770FZ-TB: made of the right stuff
The type of wood that an electric guitar is made of, greatly influences its sound. The RG3770FZ-TB is made of mahogany that provides a warm, full sound with lots of sustain. The top, with a Transparent Blue finish, is made of flamed maple. The smart construction of the Super Wizard HP-neck consists of five pieces of wood that have been placed in a way that their grain contrast. As a result, the neck is extremely stable as the chance of wood warping is eliminated. The maple/walnut neck has a rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets that have had the Prestige fret treatment for extra playing comfort.
Edge-Zero and 3x DiMarzio
The Edge Zero tremolo bridge, with its ZPS3 Zero Point System, makes this RG Prestige-guitar a very stable instrument to play and to tune. Pitching becomes easy, thanks to a special screw that has been attached to the bridge and that can lock the saddles while you set up your guitar. The three DiMarzio pickups work perfectly together and create bright lead sounds, a warm, driving low and more transparent sounds. With the 5-way pickup switch you can make all kinds of combinations. The RG3770FZ-TB comes with a case so that you can transport your valuable guitar safely, and a multitool for adjusting the instrument completely to your liking.
