Allmänt
Ibanez and Martin Miller proudly present the Prestige Series MM7-TAB! Crafted in Japan, this 7-string signature model packs the looks of the AZ24027, but a foundation sound that's completely its own. The German guitar virtuoso has chosen mahogany for the body, so a warm and rich foundation sound is definitely to be expected. The solid body has been topped with 4mm thick slab of AAA flamed maple finished in timelessly sleek Transparent Aqua blue, and the MM7-TAB thankfully complete with a case and a handy multi-tool.
The Ibanez MM7: Seymour Duncan & DynaMIX10
Anyone as multi-faceted as Martin Miller requires an equally multi-faceted instruments. That's why Ibanez have opted for two Seymour Duncan Hyperion 7 humbuckers and the DynaMIX10 preamp system with Alter Switch. This provides you with no less than 10 unique foundation sounds, while the Gotoh T1872S tremolo can be used to throw vibrato into your play. Meanwhile, the set of stable Gotoh MG-T locking tuners and Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut keep proper tabs on the tuning stability so you don't have to.
The Prestige Series: Small Details, Maximum Prestige
Now that the 'Looks' and 'Sound' boxes have been ticked, it's time to check out the playability. The Ibanez MM7 features a 1-piece roasted maple neck that's been fully stabilised and rendered maximally durable via a special S-Tech Wood treatment. In addition, the neck has a comfortable Oval C-profile, with the back of the neck sporting an oil-based finish for an amazingly smooth feel. The 24 stainless steel jumbo frets aren't exactly off-the-shelf either, and have received the Prestige Series fret-edge treatment to get rid of any sharp edges. As a sweet little finishing touch, there are the Luminlay side dots, which help you find the right frets when you're playing on any dark stage.
