Allmänt

Gibson present the Original Collection SG Special! Based on the original, stoptail bridge-equipped model from 1961, this double cutaway solid-body features a slightly more modern Compensated Wraparound bridge for enhanced intonation. Apart from that subtle and welcome difference with its vintage source of inspiration, this SG model comes with everything you'd expect from a '60s-style Gibson guitar. The mahogany body has been glued to a mahogany neck, and this Special version even gets to boast a rosewood fretboard.

The SG Special: Sixties-Style Authentic All The Way

To be able to turn the warm and lush foundation sound of this SG Special into authentic amplified tone, Gibson have bolted in two P90 pickups. These, combined with the 3-way switch and the four well-known pots with Orange Drop capacitors, make sure the guitar offers you vintage rock and blues sounds, as well as stuff on the more soulful side of things. Regardless of style, you'll immediately notice the renowned playing comfort of this sixties-style SG solid-body thanks to the Slim Taper neck profile, the 12" fretboard radius and the medium-size frets. Hard case and Gibson Accessory Kit included.
