Allmänt

Those who want to play a genuine Fender guitar without breaking the bank should check out the Mexican-made Standard series. The amazing specifications of these guitars more than compensate for their less-daring price tags. The Standard Telecaster (such as you see here) is equipped with two Blacktop High Output Humbuckers, high-quality hardware and carefully selected wooden parts. Of course this wouldn't be a proper Fender if it didn't offer something pretty to look at: a Ghost Silver Finish and zebra humbuckers. Thanks to the Blacktop Humbuckers, it is suitable for even the loudest types of music. Additionally, you can still enjoy the definitive single-coil Tele Twang thanks to the coil-split function.

Construction

On the back, the alder body has a contour so that the guitar rests comfortably against your body when you're playing it. Alder has a pleasantly balanced tone that is beautifully complemented by the warm overtones of the rosewood fretboard on the maple neck. The bridge's strings-through-body construction ensures added resonance and contributes greatly to the characteristic Telecaster sound. As the bridge has six saddles, it is easier to fine-tune than Telecasters with a vintage bridge.

Black Top Humbuckers

The Fender Blacktop humbuckers have an extra high output that allows you to take any amplifier to the limit for a lovely distortion. Ideal for rock and metal. This Telecaster definitely isn't a one-trick pony. Its coil-split function allows you to utilise the famous Telecaster single-coil sounds. In fact, this function turns the Tele into two totally different instruments: a high-gain metal monster and a traditional Telecaster.
