This is a genuine Superstrat by Fender. The white Mexican Standard Stratocaster - with Floyd Rose tremolo - is ready to bring you an immense arsenal of sounds. Its humbucker bridge pickup allows for marvellous distortion sounds, and the single-coils let you play with the familiar Fender sound. As this guitar is made in Mexico, it has a very friendly price tag. And yet it features the same looks and sound as its American counterpart!

Fender Mexican Standard Stratocaster HSS Floyd RW OLW: tone

The body of this guitar is made of alder, so its core tone is as neutral as possible, allowing you to determine the overall sound via the pickups. Use the bottom position of the 5-way pickup switch to use the humbucker as a humbucker, flick the switch up one position and it's blended with the middle pickup as well as used as a single-coil. The result is a versatile guitar with many different sounds.

Electronics and hardware

Contrary to conventional Strats, this guitar sports a Floyd Rose tremolo that allows for awesome bends and incredible dive bombs. To keep the guitar in tune, it features special locking tuners. Two tone knobs allow you to fully adjust the tone to your liking, and a 5-position pickup switch lets you choose which pickup configuration you would like to employ. Naturally a volume control is also present, allowing for subtle tone alterations - just like on other guitars with passive electronics. The chrome-plated hardware is the cherry on top!
