This silver Fender Mexican Standard Stratocaster can rightfully be called multifunctional. It is equipped with three pickups, two humbuckers and one single-coil, allowing for a veritable array of tonal possibilities. Its looks and sounds are a match for those of its American sibling, and its price makes it a serious competitor for a spot in your home. Thanks to a different way of making these guitars, Fender managed to keep their costs down, allowing everyone to enjoy the famous Fender sound!

To make sure the tone of the guitar is as good as possible, its body is made of alder, a wood type with a very neutral, balanced sound. You can determine the eventual sound with the pickups. Use the outer positions of the 5-way pickup switch to use the humbuckers as humbuckers and the inner three to use them as single-coils - making this guitar suitable for many different types of music!
Electronics and hardware
As we may expect from a Strat, this guitar also has a classic tremolo bridge that allows you to easily implement subtle tone bends into your playing. Two tone knobs subsequently allow you to adjust the tone to your liking and the 5-way pickup switch lets you select the desired pickup configuration. Naturally a volume control is also present, allowing for subtle tone alterations - just like on other guitars with passive electronics. The chrome-plated hardware is the cherry on top!

Deze gitaar is m'n laatste aankoop en zeer tevreden.
+punten: speelt soepel, goed geluid en goede kwaliteit. I.c.m. mijn Fender Champion 100 versterker een goede combinatie naar mijn mening.
-punten: de snaren ontstemden in het begin redelijk snel. In het begin vond ik hem wat zwaar wegen maar daar wen je snel aan. De Peijs van de gitaar vind ik een beetje aan de hoge kant wel.
Ik kan voor de rest geen minpunten bedenken.
Het is een goede gitaar om te spelen en het design vind is zeker mooi qua kleuren.

pluspunten; speelt lekker, heeft een goed gewicht, nette afwerking.
minpunten; ontstemt snel (heb ik opgelost met een grafieten topkam) de elementenset klinkt voor een getrained oor of een pro speler een bertje dof. Hierdoor heb ik Emg elementen erin gezet.
kortom speelt de gitaar goed en is het een mooi instapmodel, maar zou voor de professionelere speler een duurder model nemen.
Wat betreft baxshop; ze leveren snel, behulpzaam om problemen op te lossen, en een top shop!
