Allmänt

Fender's Player Stratocaster HSH is a versatile electric guitar that's ready to handle anything you throw at it. The Player series follows on from the popular Standard series and offers the same great value for money. This HSH model has a Player series single-coil pickup sandwiched in between two Player series humbuckers. Along with the on-board controls and 5-way pickup switch, this gives you everything you need for traditional Strat tones alongside powerful humbucker sounds. The alder body is also home a stable 2-point tremolo bridge so that you can easily add vibrato effects to your playing as well.

Player Strat HSH: playing comfort

This Player Strat has a maple neck with a modern C profile and a smooth, fast satin-gloss finish. Also adding to its playing comfort is the familiar 9.5-inch fretboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. In terms of looks, the 3-ply pickguard and hardware provide a nice colour contrast with the body and the '50-style spaghetti logo on the headstock is the icing on the cake.

Ik heb deze gitaar nu sinds een paar weken in mijn bezit. Vanuit de doos had de gitaar al een prima afstelling maar het gaat hier altijd om voorkeuren dus toch nog een kleine setup gedaan.
Door de configuratie is de gitaar erg veelzijdig en ruim inzetbaar.
De buttercream kleur is echt prachtig, vooral in combinatie met de zwarte slagplaat.
De prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is uitstekend en de afwerking is serieus goed.
Het fretwerk ik misschien iets minder dan de Amerikaanse broertjes maar nog steeds een ruime voldoende. Ik ben er erg content mee.

I got one of these as part of my prize for reviewing previously purchased items from Bax and I absolutely love it. I really like the pickup configuration as it gives plenty of options tone wise. The guitar arrived nicely set up and once tuned up to pitch played perfectly. A great guitar for a very reasonable price.
