Allmänt
Part of the 2023 run of Mid-Year LTD Series models, the Fender Custom Shop presents the singular Limited Edition Reverse '50s Telecaster. This one-off Tele comes in a Relic Aged Black nitrocellulose lacquer and features an authentic worn-in feel and has been stamped with the serial number, R125768. This limited edition electric solid body has definitely been put together specially for the more discerning Tele connoisseur, and while has the vibe of a model that's seen decades of touring life already, it comes complete with a deluxe hardshell case as well as a matching strap and a Certificate of Authenticity.
The Fender Limited Edition Reverse '50s Telecaster: So Much to Enjoy
The playability of this unique model is just as satisfying as the naturally matured finish. The Nocaster body is built out of two pieces of ash joined by a specially developed offset seam. The neck is made of one piece of stable, high-density rift-sawn maple and has been given a 1957 Soft V carve, providing the thumb of your fret-hand with a smooth path all the way up the fretboard. At the heel pocket, a Limited Edition four-bolt neck plate, tastefully engraved with the Fender Custom Shop logo and serial number, has been mounted to complete the exclusive vibe.
Expressive Fifties Nocaster Sound
To pack this guitar with authentic fifties-era Tele sound, the Limited Edition Reverse '50s Telecaster doesn't just boast a pair of hand-wound Custom Shop '50/'51 Blackguard single-coils, but Modified Nocaster wiring and a more practical reversed control plate where the three-way switch is shifted to the back. The bridge pickup has also been reversed to tighten up the basses and round of the trebles, polishing off that tasty and timeless twang and bite with more expressive potential than ever. Meanwhile, three compensated brass saddles prevent the trebles from getting too shrill and help deepen the tone overall by balancing the basses and sweetening the mids. And, to finish, the fretboard has been decked out with a set of twenty-one Medium Vintage 47095 Jescar frets and the compound radius warps from an ultra-round 7.25 inches at the headstock to a more standard 9.5 inches at the body, easing string bends and supporting comfortable hammer-ons, pull-offs and chord grabs.
