As if they weren't treating us enough already with the introduction of the American Elite series, Fender kicks it up a notch by releasing the Limited Edition Stratocaster in 2-Tone Sunburst. It has all the characteristics of an American Elite Stratocaster, and tops it off with a gorgeous flamed maple top. Please note that this is a limited edition model, so be sure to act quickly if you wish to order one. It features all the Elite series' top-range specs, brought together in an instrument that's as exclusive as it is attractive.

Construction

All hallmarks of the American Elite series are present and accounted for. As such, at its core, the limited Edition Stratocaster consists of an alder body and a maple neck. In this case, the maple neck features a rosewood fretboard that allows for nice warm overtones. So far, so familiar. However, as this is an American Elite Strat, not only does it feature a compound fretboard radius, it also has a compound profile. As a result, you can enjoy ultimate playing comfort all along the neck, whether you're shredding up a metal riff, or relaxing with some country picking.

Fender Deluxe Noiseless and S-1 switch

The American Elite Stratocaster features three completely redesigned Fender Deluxe Noiseless single-coil pickups. They're beautifully bright and 100% Fender, but completely noiseless. Furthermore, as per popular demand, the S-1 circuit from the Fender Deluxe Stratocaster was also included. Combined with a 5-way pickup switch, this ingenious system allows you to get a whopping 10 different sounds out of your Strat. Finally, there's the gorgeous flamed maple top, which gives this particular Limited Edition Elite model that extra touch to make it truly special.
