Allmänt

The Fender Deluxe Stratocaster HSS Tungsten is a classic-looking model with modern features. It has a '70s-style headstock, two single-coil pickups and a humbucker. The humbucker fitted at the bridge is a Fender Twin Head Vintage that's capable of adding a thicker sound to the warm and balanced tone than you normally get from a Strat.

Classic Strat sound

There are times of course, when you may want that classic Strat sound instead of what the humbucker pickup can produce. If that's the case, you’re in luck! This model is fitted with a special S-1 switch that lets the humbucker function as a single-coil for the famous Strat sound. The two single-coils are Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups that deliver a characteristic blues sound or a funky tone depending on the position of the pickup switch.

Short Post Locking Tuners

The flat 12-inch fretboard radius and fast neck make bending strings and playing solos a breeze. Each of the 22-frets is easily accessible thanks to the bevelled heel. A 2-point tremolo bridge gives the Deluxe Stratocaster HSS Tungsten good intonation. In combination with the short post locking tuners, the tuning stability is excellent too.
