A Fender Stratocaster in 3-tone Sunburst is one of the most iconic guitar models you can think of. The Deluxe Roadhouse model combines its classic appearance with a number of modern features. An alder body with a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard give you a well-balanced sound with a lovely touch of warmth and rich upper tones. It’s fitted with three Vintage Noiseless single-coil pickups so you won't suffer from any unwanted noise or hum. Because the pickups are high-output, this Strat is suitable for almost any genre of music, including heavier styles. The fretboard is relatively flat and has a radius of 12 inches for optimal playing comfort.

More than a Strat

What sets the Fender Deluxe Roadhouse apart from other Strats is the built-in preamplifier. It's turned on and off using the S-1 switch found on the volume control. The preamp itself is controlled by a knob that looks exactly like the middle tone control and is situated in the same place too. When it's activated, you'll have access to six different preamp tones, giving you a wide variety of sounds to choose from. When it's turned off, you'll get the classic Strat sound complete with its legendary sparkle. It's this preamp that makes the Fender Deluxe Roadhouse more than just a standard Strat.
