The Fender Custom Shop Limited Heavy Relic Mischief Maker is a remarkable guitar. Artificially aged by the Custom Shop, this guitar has the appeal of a vintage Fender, while still being a brand new instrument. A nice detail is the original 3-Color Sunburst finish that peeks out from under the Daphne Blue lacquer in places where the guitar is most 'damaged'. Furthermore, while it looks like a Strat, this guitar actually has a Telecaster neck, resulting in a unique hybrid guitar. Besides being a great electric guitar in its own right, this guitar is also a gorgeous piece of art, a collector's item and a great conversation piece.

Heavy Relic Mischief Maker: versatile sound

While the Limited Edition Mischief Maker might look and sound like a real vintage instrument, under the bonnet there is quite a bit of modern technology to be found. For instance, it features three hand-wound single-coil pickups, with the middle one being reverse-wound to reverse its polarity and counteract noise. Furthermore, it's fitted with the Greasebucket tone circuit that allows you to reduce highs without losing gain. Finally, for an ever wider range of sounds, the Mischief Maker is equipped with a Blender neck pickup control, that brings the total of pickup configurations up to 7.
