Allmänt
Bringing the throwback looks as well as supreme, late-fifties sound, the Fender Custom Shop Custom Build Limited Edition '57 Strat features a beaten-up Relic Aged Black finish and comes loaded with Custom Shop Hand-Wound Ancho Poblano pups. This limited edition six-string is based on Strats from one of Fender's many golden ages and, since it is every bit a Custom Shop offering, it also comes pre-wrapped in a deluxe case complete with a strap and certificate of authenticity.
The Fender Custom Built Limited Edition ‘57 Strat: Played-in Look & Feel
Echoing the original, the Custom Shop have given this model a two-piece body carved out of hand-selected alder, giving it an immediately familiar and friendly foundation sound while the hand-applied wear and tear gives every example the played-in look and feel of a model that's seen some hefty touring schedules. The one-piece maple neck has been finished with a super-snug 1957 Soft-V profile, coated in an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer, and couples with the 9.5-inch fretboard radius and a classic pack of twenty-one narrow-tall 6105 frets to complete effortless, Custom Shop grade playability.
Biting Sound
The three-pack of Custom Shop Hand-Wound Ancho Poblano Strat single-coils include a reverse-wound/reverse polarity middle pickup to help counter hum and support clean output and, as well as some classic Strat-grade sound, these special Ancho Poblano pups bring some extra bite to really spice up those licks. As another sweet bonus, the electronics loadout also features a built-in Tone-Saver treble bleed circuit so your tone is fully retained, even when the volume is rolled back and, because it just wouldn't be complete without it, a Custom Shop Vintage Synchronized Tremolo bridge has been mounted to support some subtle to extreme vibrato tricks.
