The Dark Mercedes Blue Fender Classic Player Strat HH offers luxury Custom Shop features at an affordable price. This Stratocaster was designed by master guitar builder Yuriy Shishkov who combined features of '60s and '70s guitars, including two Wide Range humbucker pickups and a comfortable C-profile neck with a rosewood fretboard, pearloid position markers and white bindings. Naturally, we shouldn't forget to mention the large CBS-era headstock that sports the same, marvellous dark-blue lacquer as the body. Including a Deluxe Gig Bag.
Classic Player Strat HH Dark Mercedes Blue: components
Beneath the deep-blue Mercedes lacquer hides an alder body that gives this guitar a balanced sound with full basses, sweet mids and clear trebles. The Fender Wide Range pickups combine the broad, rich and clean sound of single-coils with the warmth and output of humbuckers. Thanks to the versatile 5-way pickup switch you are supplied with five versatile sounds. The bridge is a vintage-style tremolo with a two-point mounting, making it feel smooth and ensuring excellent tuning stability. A set of seventies-style F-type machine heads complete the picture.
Classic Player series guitars
Guitars from the Classic Player series, sprung from the Classic line, are modelled after traditional Telecasters, Stratocasters, Jazzmasters and Jaguars, but are extra notable because of the addition of several special, modern features. For instance, they offer a choice from a broad selection of pickups (ranging from classic pickups to modern, high-output versions), and each model features a relatively flat fretboard radius for extra comfortable playing. Additionally, instruments from this series - introduced in 2006 - are characterised by a vintage-style neck profile.
