Allmänt
Those who want the one and only Stratocaster go for the American Standard models. These electric guitars were hand-built in the US and offer a combination of craftsmanship, modern high-quality components and the trusted features that many a professional and ambitious starting guitarist is looking for. The Fender American Standard Stratocaster (Bordeaux Metallic, rosewood fretboard) meets their every demand in a beautiful red guise. Compared to a maple version, the dark rosewood fretboard produces a warmer sound. A luxury case, guitar cable, guitar strap and polishing cloth are included.
American Standard Strat BDM RW: vintage and modern
Naturally, the American Standard Strat BDM RW has the unmistakeable Strat-type body made of pleasantly lightweight but highly resonant alder. In it, a trio of Custom Shop Fat '50s single-coil pickups is mounted. These pickups produce the famous Alnico V single-coil sound that is rich in twang and not too powerful mids with plenty of bass at the same time. A reverse-wound middle pickup takes full responsibility for the hum-free sounds in the pickup switch's positions 2 and 4. Twist the No Load tone knob all the way up to 10 and enjoy an extra raw single-coil sound. To ensure a stable tuning, this modern guitar was fitted with friction-reducing staggered machine heads. Quick and accurate neck-angle adjustments can be made with the Micro-Tilt at the heel.
Guitars and bass guitars from the American Standard series
The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
